Did you write the question correctly? If they want to know how many miles driven in the three months it's 45 miles. If they want to know how many miles driven per day in the last three months, it's about 30 days in month times 3months equal 90 days and then 45miles divided between 90 days equals .5 or 1/2 of a mile driven per day.
