9 + 7 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 27 ÷ 6 = 4.5

4.5 - 9 = 4.5

4.5 - 7 = 2.5

4.5 - 6 = 1.5

4.5 - 2 = 2.5

4.5 - 2 = 2.5

4.5 - 1 = 3.5

4.5 + 2.5 + 1.5 + 2.5 + 2.5 + 3.5 = 17 ÷ 6 = 2.83 or 2.8

so our MAD is 2.83 or 2.8!
