I feel like C is the right answer Jack killed the giant because after he stole at least 2-3 things from him he got caught the Giant chased him and that's why Jack had to kill him. Now there is also many versions of this particular fairytale. So it depends on which one you are actually reading and referring to. Selling his cow for magic beans really had nothing to do really do with why he killed the giant.
