4x - 3y = 26
3x + 2y = 11
Multiply 1st eqn by 2, second by 3.
That way the y term disappears when the equations are added.
8x - 6y = 52
9x + 6y = 33
Add
17x = 85
x = 5

Hope I could help :)

4x - 3y = 26
3x + 2y = 11

multiply by 2 for the first equation

8x - 6y = 52
9x + 6y= 33. multiply by 3 for the second equation

17x= 85.

x= 5

20-3y=26

-3y=-6
y=2
