The question is asking to state and explain the debates concerning the Day of reconciliation and base on my research, debates are very different as people have different opinions of the argument although most of the people agree that it was a good change because it allowed all races to celebrate and finally unify as a country. Having the day named for one race would then cause conflict amongst people who have a different ideas on the day.
