Differences between rotation and revolution involves the axis turned or axis of movement and time taken to complete each action. Hence, differences in Rotation and revolution include :

Rotation describes how the earth turns on its axis while revolution described the how the earth revolved around the sun.

Also, the time taken to complete a rotation is 24 hours, hence resulting in a whole day while revolution takes 365 days to complete resulting in a complete year.
